Supporting LGBT Colleagues in the Workplace

Research conducted by YouGov reveals that more than a third of LGBT staff  have hidden their sexual orientation or gender identity at work for fear of discrimination. The figure is higher for trans staff at 51% and for BAME LGBT staff at 42%. Across all sectors, employers can take straightforward steps to support their LGBT staff and ensure their workforce wellbeing is prioritised. 

This conference offers practical advice on how to make LGBT staff feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work. It provides an opportunity to explore the simple strategies that can be used to create an inclusive working culture, in turn driving better individual, business and organisational outcomes.
